HL7 International offers a wide range of certification options for its products. The purpose of these certifications is to ensure the quality of the workforce implementing HL7's standards.
Employees profit from certification by being able to prove their proficiency with HL7's healthcare standards, whereas employers can easily identify individuals with the required capabilities for jobs in healthcare IT.
During HL7 FHIR DevDays on June 19-20, 2019 in Redmond, Washington, HL7 is offering a prep course for those who are seeking to acquire the HL7 FHIR proficiency certificate. Participants of the prep course will learn where and how they can take the test, how to prepare for the exam and what materials to review in preparation.
This course will not revisit the topics covered by the certification but rather give hints on what to expect from the certification exam and how to optimally prepare. A set of training questions will help participants to determine if their current knowledge of the HL7 FHIR specification meets the exam requirements and to identify areas for further review.
For those not able to join us at the event, HL7's Education On Demand site offers certification preparation courses and materials.
