The Da Vinci Project’s February Community Roundtable to be held Feb. 23 from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. ET

In this month’s Community Roundtable, the HL7 Da Vinci Project is exploring how EHRs are key to interoperability success with a discussion on electronic health record (EHR) vendors featuring Allscripts and healow Insights

The session will showcase how the role of HL7® Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resource (FHIR®) and the Da Vinci implementation guides are impacting their product roadmaps and related integration efforts to improve workflow, maximize efficiencies and improve patient care. Guest speakers will include:

  • Jeff Danford, Sr. Principal Software Engineer, Allscripts
  • Seth Paradis, Sales and Business Development Manager, Payer Engagement Division, healow Insights
Global health IT leader Allscripts is a founding partner of Da Vinci and has been actively engaged across the Project in an effort to understand the current challenges health plans and providers face, then capitalizing on HL7 FHIR implementation guidelines to work toward that end.

With a cloud-based suite of services, healow Insights helps payers, providers, and members approach care proactively with innovative solutions that support stakeholders in their journey toward value-based care. healow Insights is an associate member of The Da Vinci Project and is working toward accelerating the adoption of HL7 FHIR to support and integrate value-based care data exchange.

About the Community Roundtable

The goal of the Da Vinci Project’s community roundtables is to increase public awareness among payers, providers and vendors of the resources and progress coming out of Da Vinci’s efforts. These 90-minute virtual sessions are open to Da Vinci members as well as the public and highlight how members leverage the Da Vinci use cases and implementation guides in action in workflow.

Typically, two or three organizations showcase their work and answer audience questions, allowing for a vibrant discussion and fostering industry understanding of the Da Vinci work products and resulting market solutions. Sessions are recorded and available online after the event.
