The Project Scope Statement (PSS) Is Now in Confluence

Written by Dave Hamill | Apr 1, 2019 6:16:18 PM

Exciting changes are happening for the Project Scope Statement (PSS) in Confluence.  The PSS template has been replaced by a Confluence form and launched today, April 1, 2019.

The form replaces the template page made from tables. The new PSS form contains dynamic drop-downs and checkboxes.  Based on the information entered, the form will add or remove areas of the PSS.

Logic has also been added to ensure required fields and information are provided when necessary.  With that, much of the extraneous text that appeared in the Microsoft Word template and Confluence page is no longer needed and has been removed.

To use the PSS form, log into HL7’s Confluence space at: https://confluence.hl7.org/

Select the ellipsis at the top next to "Create". Then, select "HL7 Project Scope Statement Template" and save the form in the project area of your desired space. (If you only see two options for templates show up, select "Show More" to reveal all templates.)
