New to Confluence? We've got you covered.

Confluence is our new tool for creating, organizing, sharing, and collaborating on work. While we're still in the process of rolling it out, about half of HL7 work groups are already using it.

There are how-to articles on the main page in Confluence, but these new 2-minute videos are in Health Level Seven's YouTube channel for easy access. The videos include:

In the first video, the very basics of structure and use are covered. The next video is a review of navigating spaces and pages, searching for content and locating help. The last video shows basic page tree reordering, restriction of page content and managing comments and pages.

The videos are brought to you by HL7's newest staff member, Joshua Procious. As the HL7 Applications Manager, Josh is responsible for providing client-facing training and support as well as assisting with set up and management of software applications used by HL7 members such as JIRA, Confluence, Zulip and others.

Josh served as a system administrator and communicator in the United States Marine Corps. He played the role of a national security agency monitor and local system administrator while supporting Operations Enduring Freedom and Inherent Resolve both from the U.S. and abroad. His favorite pasttimes are philosophy and art.
